Leona Irene (DesRosiers) Demoranville

 Leona Irene (DesRosiers) DeMoranville lived a remarkable life defined by family, hard work, compassion, and service to others. Born in Middleboro in 1926, she spent much of her life deeply connected to the community she loved.

 A devoted wife, mother of four, and dedicated worker, Leona helped on the family farm while raising her children and later served as Head Baker at Middleboro High School, where generations of students came to know her warm smile and caring nature. She was also a passionate advocate for those in need, serving on the Human Rights Committee for the Paul A. Dever School and volunteering throughout her retirement years. 

Leona's legacy continues through her family, including her son, Alan C. DeMoranville Jr., former Lieutenant Detective of the Middleboro Police Department, whose decades of service reflected the same commitment to community, integrity, and helping others that his mother demonstrated throughout her life.

 Remembered for her kindness, strength, faith, and unwavering devotion to family, Leona's impact on Middleboro and beyond continues to be felt through the many lives she touched. Her story is one of resilience, service, and love—a legacy that will endure for generations.
